At Indian Rocks Acute Rehabilitation, patients with neurological injury or disease such as Guillain Barré, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis can benefit from the comprehensive care and treatment provided by our interdisciplinary team of professionals.

Therapy will focus on regaining skills as well as learning ways to compensate for abilities that have been permanently changed. Most individuals respond best to programs tailored to their backgrounds and interests. The most effective therapy programs involve family members who can best provide this information. Computer-assisted programs have been successful with some individuals.

Indian Rocks’s Acute Neurologic Rehabilitation Program is dedicated to guiding patients through extensive activities that promote wellness and comfort for a lifetime. Whether someone has experienced a mild, moderate or severe deficits, our goals are the same: returning him or her to the family and community, easing pain, promoting mobility and function, and advocating for a productive future.

Our approach to rehabilitation is unique because we do not use a one-size-fits-all philosophy. Our programs are individualized and structured around the unique needs of each patient.
