Your Hospital Bill
When you receive your patient account statement, it will reflect total charges for your hospital care, estimated payment due from any insurances, and the amount that you as the patient are expected to pay.
Your bill does not include professional fees of any of the doctors involved in your care. Doctors are not hospital employees, and they will send you a separate statement.
