The team at Largo Medical Center is proud to announce Penny Vigneau as its new Chief Operating Officer. Penny comes to Largo Medical Center from the Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware where she is the Senior VP of Cardiovascular, Neuro and Behavioral Health Services. Prior to that, Vigneau was an Administrative Director of Cardiovascular Services at Sparrow Health System in Lansing, Michigan.
“When looking for an administrative professional with the background to fill this position, we learned Penny, along with her strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, would be the perfect fit for our hospital family,” said Anthony Degina, Chief Executive Officer, Largo Medical Center.
“It’s the entire staff at Largo Medical Center including the physicians, nurses and ancillary departments that I met with who I can see are clearly committed to the hospital’s mission,” said Penny Vigneau, New Chief Operating Officer at Largo Medical Center. “I look forward to joining this team, assisting in growing relationships in the community and advancing every opportunity available to patients being cared for.”
Vigneau received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in social work, her MSW from West Virginia University and her MBA from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Penny’s first day at Largo Medical Center is Monday, April 13.
