Largo, FL - Largo Medical Center is proud to announce the 2014 Awards of Distinction including our Frist Humanitarian and our Excellence in Nursing Award recipients.
Ruby Hope, RN, Employee, Nancy Dowd, Volunteer and Dr. Paul Steele, Physician are the Frist Humanitarian Award recipients. The Frist Humanitarian Awards were created to recognize one employee, one physician and one volunteer at each HCA-affiliated facility who demonstrate extraordinary concern for the welfare and happiness of patients and their community. These awards are given annually in recognition of the humanitarian spirit and philanthropic work of the late Dr. Thomas F. Frist, Sr., founder of HCA. National recipients will be honored in the spring in a reception in Nashville, TN at HCA headquarters.
