Clearwater, FL – The new Clearwater ER opened its doors Monday, November 24 at 8 a.m. Staff treated their first patient shortly afterwards – nine year old Clearwater resident Tristan Fraedrich.
Tristan’s mother, Misty Fraedrich said, “He just couldn’t wait to get here.” And for being the ER’s first patient, his emergency room physician, Dr. Bill Williams presented Tristan with his very own Clearwater ER t-shirt and coloring book.
“It’s making that connection and caring for our community and for families like the Fraedrich’s that is our passion,” said Anthony Degina, Largo Medical Center, CEO.
The Clearwater ER – A Department of Largo Medical Center is the hospital’s third full-service, 24/7 emergency room. This free-standing emergency room is a 10,620 square foot facility with 12 exam rooms, including a secure holding room, critical care, a lab and state of the art x-ray and CT imaging.
