The treatment and management of
lung cancer
will depend on a number of factors, like the type of cancer, the stage, and your overall health. If you meet certain criteria, your treatment team may recommend tumor genotyping. This involves taking a sample of the tumor to look for genetic changes in the cancer cells. Certain genetic changes can be treated with new targeted therapy.
