Group therapy is offered and focuses on coping skills, assertiveness skills, goal setting, budgeting and co-occurring disorders. Patients receive 3 hours of treatment per day, for 3 days a week, and are seen by the psychiatrist at least once a month.
- Partial Hospitalization Program
In this highly specialized, outpatient program, patients are seen 5 days a week for 4 hours per day. Group therapy is also offered as is medication management. Patients are seen by the psychiatrist at least once a week, by a nurse on a daily basis, and receive physical examination. Individual treatment plans are reviewed on a more frequent basis. This program can help as a step up from routine or intensive outpatient services or as a step down from an inpatient setting.
- Electroconvulsive Therapy
