Residents complete a 52 week educational program. Working hours are generally 7 am to 7 pm, with pager call once every four nights. Residents receive a total of 20 days of paid time off which can be used for vacation, personal needs, and holidays. Residents are also allowed a total of 5 days of paid time for conference attendance and other educational needs.
