Vacation
20 days (4 weeks) available to all Residents and Fellows for vacation time, personal time, sick time and holidays.

Educational Conferences
5 Conference days are available to residents and fellows, during each year of training and must be approved by the Program Director and be in accordance with Medical Education policies and procedures.

Educational Stipends / Allowance
Educational stipend of $2000 is provided to Residents and Fellows at the PGY2 level and beyond during each year of training. The educational stipend for PGY1 Residents is $500.00 plus $500.00 technology stipend. Reimbursements paid by the stipend must be approved by the Administrative Director of Medical Education and be in accordance with Medical Education policies and procedures.

Health Insurance
Residents and Fellows receive comprehensive health and dental insurance with a variety of options. Insurance coverage is provided to the Residents and Fellows under the same options, rates, terms and conditions available to all other Hospital employees.

Disability and Life Insurance
The Hospital will provide long and short term disability and life insurance to Residents and Fellows under the same options, rates, terms and conditions available to all other Hospital employees.

Professional Liability
Residents and Fellows are covered by the Hospital’s professional malpractice insurance while performing duties within their scope of the Medical Education Program.

Workers Comp
Worker’s Compensation Insurance is provided to the Residents and Fellows, consistent with the Hospital’s benefits program.

On-Duty Meal Allowance
The Hospital will provide a meal stipend for use in the cafeteria to purchase meals while on duty at the Hospital.

COMLEX Exam Part III
The Hospital will subsidize the cost of this exam for all residents.

Dues
Hospital will pay for Residents and Fellows AOA Dues.

ACLS/PALS/ATLS Training
Provided by the Hospital at no cost to the Residents and Fellows not already certified or needing recertification, as required for respective training program.

Florida Registration as an Osteopathic Physician in Training
The Hospital pays for the Florida State Registration required for physicians in training for all Residents and Fellows.

Parking
Parking on campus in designated areas is provided.
